What are your options with the two main rivers?

  • The Brahmaputra is often recognised as the ideal river for river rafting. You begin in Dibrugarh and travel till you reach the Pashighat plains. The river then continues on to the most distant of locations, where tribal living can be found among the dense flora and fauna of thick rainforests, and where exotic plant species such as orchids, ferns, and palms can be found. It is a one-hundred-and-eighty-kilometer run that begins in Tuting and ends in the Pashighat plains. The area is extremely remote and inaccessible. It's no surprise that this river rafting adventure is one of the most exciting and sought-after river rafting adventures to date.

What you would face on the Brahmaputra expedition

  • While river rafting the enormous Brahmaputra Riffles and rapids, expect big drops.
  • There would be dangerous entry sites in areas like Pulsating Palsi and Ningguing, which would morph into huge rapids in the blink of an eye.
  • You'll be sucked into the Zebra Rock and the Roaring Rikor at the following stop, until you reach the Toothfairy rapids in Cherring.
  • After passing through the Cherring Rapids, you'll come across the Karko Rapids before arriving at the well-known Pongging Punch.

What you could expect with the Subansari expedition

  • The Subansari River, often known as the Gold River by locals, is the largest tributary of the Brahmaputra River. Locals claim that this river in Arunachal Pradesh has a thunderous descent powerful enough to uproot a forest. The Subansari River is a demanding and challenging river that runs through the dense thick forests of tribal settlements in Arunachal Pradesh, and the amount of water it consumes from the Tsonga Dzong and into the mighty Great Loop of the Tsangpo in Tibet until it reaches the forefront of Arunachal Pradesh.
